Plastic Invasion.

I went over & over in my head whether or not I should write a post about Jelly sandals, I had to. I think it's love/hate trend. I personally find them fun , but some might think they're childish....and so what's wrong with childishness? however your outfit must balance out.

Last year I had my first encounter with such style, the Givenchy sandals. They made them in black, pink, yellow & white and I thought they were cute. This year other brands released their versions of the jelly sandals (and even sneakers!) Anyways, I will probably get a pair sometime next month (depends on my budget and the other items on my wishlist)(which by the way, keeps on growing)

Here are some of the best spring jellies, enjoy!
See by Chloe Tie Back Jelly Sandal, $125
Givenchy Cutout Jelly Flats, $170
CL by Chinese Laundry Gladiate sandal, $30

F Troupe Plastic Sneaker, $40 (my favorite but in purple)
Tory Burch Jelly Reva Flats, $95

Who loves Topshop?

I can't explain how excited I am about the TOPSHOP opening tomorrow in NYC, how I wish I could be there! And it's double excitement since Kate Moss' new line is also been launched tomorrow!
Wow....tonight I won't sleep, definitively.

Let's get some overseas style into our lives!

(I also wish that the shipping charges get lower, currently at $15, don't get me wrong I would still pay it in order to get some of their one-of-a kind pieces)

Countdown begins now . . . .

Marc or Aldo?

Favorite Oufit: Nanette Lepore blazer & shorts.

Marc by Marc Jacobs "Lace up ankle boots", $550

Aldo shoes "Shrewsberry", $125

I came across these lace up sandals when browsing for stuff I can't afford at Saks.com, the contemporary video catalog is pretty cool (you get to see how the fabric moves) and some of the outfits are perfect for spring. My favorite was probably the cream boyfriend blazer and shorts suit (by Nanette Lepore)since I 've been wanting to get one for a while now. That's when I saw these Marc by MJ shoes and I think I them. I always know when I (really) like something, it's easy: I see something that catches my eye, I wonder how it would look on me, the versatility of the item, and if it's "different" (as in interesting). If this happens for more than 2 days, then I must (really) like it. This happens to me. A lot.

Since I can't afford to pay $550 for them right now (I'm saving money for a Badgley Mischka bag, from the platinum collection, obviously) I was somewhat relieved to see that the Aldo website carries a very similar, if not almost exact copy of this sandals. I think they would look adorable with spring dresses (and I'm really staring to get the spring dress fever already) Although they are a bit lower than the original MJ's they are still cute and about $400 cheaper.

I'll sleep on it tonight (actually it's hard for to sleep when I have a possible shooe investment in mind), but I'll try.

Easy Sunday

I had a pretty simple Sunday, just wore a casual outfit to stop by the mall (again!) with my boy. This time we went shopping for him...which I equally love doing. Actually, sometimes we only go to the mens side at the stores and I'm perfectly fine with that, I get all crazy too fixing up outfits for him too.

My first pair of gladiators, they're looking old now
(my feet have some damage from risky shoe decisions, but the again you gotta sacrifice right?)

(Wearing a Zara top/old AE shorts/ old Nine West sandals)

Oh! and have I told you about my current obsession? San Pellegrino's Aranciatas! they are orange + sparkling water drinks that are soooo refreshing I want to have one with every meal. I used to like Oranginas but after our NYC trip (where we discovered this little treasure) we had to switch to these. We ordered a 24 pack from an online retailer since we don't get these in Texas. I feel like having one right now, I'll skip the night tea tonight for one of these....yuuum.

Love getting packages!
specially when they came from the city, it makes me feel like I'm there again.

If you haven't tried one, you should! One of the little pleasures in my life.

Buenas Noches,

K.

Bring it on.

Who would win this style face off?
I'm always rooting for the Teen Vogue team, but then again their opponents look damn fierce....I just love the energy of both pics.
